Going to TWTC for an exhibition

My company is a factory of manufacturing bathroom accesories such as bathroom mirrors, toilet roll holder, soap dish holder, towel rail, shelf etc. So I am asked to attend the show in TWTC (23rd Taipei International B,C + Dex) to look around and see how the goods is from other companies, also, it is like my training for the sense of building hardware and sanitary ware.
I learned a lot there, but I don't want to share that boring things here. I want to record another thing~

When I walked on the street to TWTC, I saw a bottem on the bar of traffic light. I was not the first time to see it, I've also seen it and used it a lot when  was in Australia, so~what's interesting? The most interesting thing is: No one pressed the bottem, I didn't hear the familar hurry sound!

Why I thought it is interesting? Because when I was in AU, everone used it if we wanted to across the road, if there was not sound, it must be broken. I couldn't hear the hurry sound in Taiwan, the reason is not because it didn't work, it is because no one press it. Why? 'cause we didn't know how to press it.
The bottem is for the direction of east-west or the direction of North-south; However, there was no buttom for the direction of Northeast to southwest.

But I have to say that How Clever Taiwanese is! Why they can think of crossing the street from Northeast to southwest!
